  • Have well organised, clear information
  • Be based on claims that can be verified
  • Be relevant for the position you are applying for
  • Be concise - no more than two pages
  • Show you in the best possible light
  • Make you feel good about yourself

A Good CV must never:

  • Be misleading or contain inaccuracies
  • Be flashy
  • Be dull, boring or too long
  • Contain long paragraphs of text or jargon
  • Have "gaps"
